This weekend I worked on my modelling summative, making it the best I can.
This it it, my modelling summative rendered in 1080Hd goodness. I’m very pleased with how it turned out, here’s hoping my tutor will be too.

Spent a good deal of this morning recreating a Seburo CX Exploder to accompany Motoko and the Tachikoma.
I’m very pleased with how it turned out. I really love the style used in Ghost in the Shell design.
An update on last nights model,
I also did more work on the Tachikoma, fixing the mesh and adding some more details.
Getting close to being done I think.
Update on Motoko.
Just threw this body together to get a rough shape down for what I want. Proportions are out of wack, and she looks way too young.
Will build upon this tomorrow morning.
Worked more on the head and a headset today, most time was spent on the hair. Which while proving to be fun is challenging to get a good shape.
Tommorow we have a in class presentation of our work. I’ll work on the body during class tommorow, to get some more content into Motoko.

With a fixed mesh and a splash of colour, I’m pleased to say that my little Tachikoma here can be called done…though it has been refered to as ” a wierd arse blender…”
Next step is the Major, who I’ve started this morning. The hair is going to be fun to do.

Yup, from what I can tell. I’m 98% done with my Tachikoma model here, all that needs to be done is optimising the mesh and checking scale on the parts.
No dramatic pose today, just the plain model standing in it’s default pose.

Great news! My tutor accepted my first choice of subject to do for my modelling summative.
I’ll be doing Major Kusanagi and a Tachikoma from ‘Ghost in the shell’
I’ve started on playing around with modelling the Major’s hair, and have done 30% of the Tachikoma’s base body. I’m excited to be getting stuck into all this.
